Nick Suzuki, Jake Evans, and Brendan Gallagher have received a special invitation in Detroit
Hockey is a sport where opponents may despise each other on the ice but can share a meal afterwards. The camaraderie off the ice is indescribable.
Teammates often become friends for life, even if their paths diverge. During the Canadiens' visit to Detroit, Jeff Petry and his family invited Nick Suzuki, Brendan Gallagher, and Jake Evans for dinner.
Jeff's wife, Julie Petry, captured the moment and shared it on social media.
As for the defenseman, things aren't going great for him in Detroit. He has been sidelined several times since the start of the season, despite usually being part of the top 4.
Let's hope he bounces back and finds his groove, but not tonight!
