We never thought we'd say this one day, but Nick Suzuki was the only player from the 2022-23 edition of the Montreal Canadiens who managed the feat of playing all 82 games. In the context of countless and endless injuries on the Tricolore this season, this can truly be considered an achievement.
Another great accomplishment of number 14 is becoming the youngest captain in the team's history. With his eight-season contract, his endurance, and his talent, he might well end up breaking Saku Koivu's record for the most years as captain of the Montreal Canadiens.
There's another interesting feat accomplished by Suzuki, and it puts him in the same sentence as Paul Kariya. Indeed, they are the only two players of Asian descent to have been full time captains in the NHL.
