Pierre-Luc Dubois just debunked a significant rumor about the Canadiens and it's causing a reaction
The situation surrounding the potential arrival of Pierre-Luc Dubois in Montreal finally concluded over the past few weeks, as he eventually joined the Los Angeles Kings.
In addition to the trade, the 25-year-old Quebecer also signed an eight-year contract extension for $8.5M annually.
In relation to everything that transpired during the weeks preceding his trade, during his appearance on 98.5 FM, he refuted a significant rumor concerning the Montreal Canadiens.

While some rumors stated that the Canadiens were really in the running and had even possibly made an offer to Dubois, we learn from the player himself that Kent Hughes was ultimately not as involved in the case as what was being suggested behind the scenes.
The new Kings' player even reiterated a second time that the CH had never made him an offer, while stating that Los Angeles was the team most interested in him.
