Quebec Nordiques: a video sends a very clear message to Gary Bettman
Gary Bettman has never been in favor of the return of the Quebec Nordiques. According to him, the potential fan base is too small, even being the smallest in the NHL. To this day, it is in Winnipeg where the least expanded fan base in the NHL can be found.
However, there are many cities hosting NHL teams, like the Coyotes for example, whose arena is practically empty at every game. Popularity level should be considered, not just the potential fan base.
A Quebec Remparts fan filmed a video at the Videotron Center with a very clear message for Gary Bettman.
It must be admitted that a crowd of over 17,000 fans for a junior hockey game is quite impressive and shows the excitement that could be generated by the return of an NHL team.
