Significant personnel movement expected for the Canadiens: confirmation expected for both defensemen David Savard and Arber Xhekaj
While the injury list continues to grow for the Canadiens, two players may be poised to come off that list and return to the regular lineup.
Indeed, David Savard and Arber Xhekaj were practicing with their teammates this morning at the Bell Centre, as the Seattle Kraken are visitors tonight.
To integrate them into the lineup, Kent Hughes will have to send two players down to Laval. Therefore, it can be expected that two defensemen among Gustav Lindstrom, Jayden Struble, and Mattias Norlinder will join the Rocket shortly.
As this is Savard's first practice since his injury, it would be surprising if he is already in uniform tonight, but it could happen fairly quickly.
