Story that will please Montreal Canadiens fans: Connor Bedard will be drafted by the Canadiens according to a psychic's predictions
On May 8th, the NHL Draft Lottery will take place. Being a highly anticipated event for hockey fans, we will finally find out which team will get the first overall pick, and therefore, Connor Bedard.
Some teams have much better chances than others depending on their ranking. The Canadiens, for example, have an 8.5% chance of getting the future star player.
As a fan of the Bleu-blanc-rouge, TV host Jean-René Dufort took advantage of the first edition of the "Expose ta magie" show to try to predict the results of this famous lottery in advance.
At the request of her colleague during the Infoman show, Chantal Lamarre asked a psychic for her prediction on whether the Canadiens will draft Connor Bedard.
Here's her response:
Indeed, thanks to the psychic's gift, we now know which uniform Bedard will wear next season, and to the delight of fans, it will be that of the Tricolore!
Obviously, this is not to be taken too seriously, but it's fun to dream a little before the winner of the draft lottery is revealed.
Who knows, maybe the Canadiens will be luckier than we think!
