Surprise acquisition of a former 4th overall pick by Kent Hughes: that won't be possible anymore, now that Jesse Puljujarvi has signed a contract with Pittsburgh
As we mentioned a few days ago, forward Jesse Puljujarvi is now healthy and ready to train with contact after undergoing bilateral hip resurfacing surgery.
Since his name has often been linked to the Canadiens, rumors immediately reignited, but Kent Hughes seems to have either run out of time or interest.
Indeed, Puljujarvi has just signed a professional tryout contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He may now have the opportunity to revive his career alongside none other than Sidney Crosby.
