Suspension alert: A player has been suspended for three games and it's Montreal Canadiens' prospect Jayden Struble
The defensive future for the Canadiens looks very promising, even if we often overlook the most reliable defenseman on the Rocket. Indeed, Jayden Struble has been very solid since his arrival in the pros, and he should not be overlooked in the Canadiens' plans.
However, he will be absent for three games as he has been suspended by the AHL for jumping onto the ice and engaging in a fight after the game was over.
"The American Hockey League Player Safety Committee announced today that Rocket defenseman Jayden Struble has been suspended for three (3) games, and Manitoba Moose forward Jeff Malott has been suspended for one (1) game due to their actions in the game on November 12."
- Laval Rocket, via AHL It will undoubtedly be a significant loss for the Rocket, but one could argue that it is well-deserved when you see the footage of what happened.
