Among the names that often come up in various rumors is that of the Philadelphia Flyers' goaltender, Carter Hart. This creates a rather difficult situation for the Quebecer, Daniel Brière, who is starting his first season as general manager without having any news about the future of his starting goaltender.
Brière seems particularly eager for an official verdict to be handed down by the leaders of the Bettman circuit, as he is currently mired in a very challenging uncertainty. Obviously, this is certainly not an ideal scenario for the team's new general manager.
A statement that speaks volumes!
Unfortunately, the NHL does not seem in a hurry to make an official announcement, and it would not be surprising if the general managers have to wait for the start of the regular season before finally getting an answer on this critically important matter.
One thing is certain: we sincerely hope for Daniel Brière that Carter Hart is not involved in this horrific story, or the Flyers might potentially lose their number one goalie in the middle of the season. If that's the case, the GM will need to find a new alternative quickly to replace his young netminder.
Do you believe there will be a resolution to this issue by the start of the regular season?
