The Montreal Canadiens have been active during the summer, making various roster moves and interesting additions to their lineup.

In addition to offloading the contracts of Mike Hoffman and Rem Pitlick, Kent Hughes has brought in Alex Newhook and Gustav Lindstrom, who'll both be playing with the club this season.

However, according to journalist Renaud Lavoie, the organization's two biggest acquisitions occurred off the ice, with major additions to the medical staff.

With the arrival of Jim Ramsey as the new head therapist, along with the addition of Maxime Gauthier as a physiotherapist, Lavoie believes these are home runs for the Canadiens' management.

Naturally, considering that the Montreal organization had by far the worst record in the league in terms of games missed due to injuriessomething that has been the case for the last two seasonsit was necessary to address a significant issue.

If we trust TVA Sports' journalist, there should be a noticeable difference in this regard for the upcoming seasons.
