The Montreal Canadiens confirm the news regarding Jake Allen
With Samuel Montembeault in net for two consecutive games, it's been a while for Jake Allen to see action.
The veteran is now in a backup role every fourth game, and he must be patient, especially as the other two goalies are performing better than him at the moment.
Nevertheless, it's now confirmed that he will face the challenge of stopping the Winnipeg Jets on Monday night. He will be up against Connor Hellebuyck, who has been among the NHL elite for years.
It's worth noting, however, that the Jets are without their top scorer, Kyle Connor, for an extended period.
