On Saturday night, during the game between the Canadiens and the Blues, something very unusual happened for the Canadiens. They were not penalized during the entire game, which is a rare occurrence at this early stage of the season.

The Habs are among the most penalized teams in the league, and a perfect game in terms of penalties would undoubtedly boost team morale, despite the loss.

However, a change was announced, and it ultimately wasn't a perfect game in that regard. At the very end of the game, Arber Xhekaj was finally penalized.

"Arber Xhekaj was assessed an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty at the end of the game - the officials didn't want the #GoHabsGo penalty summary section on the game sheet to be empty."

It's worth noting that the referees played a crucial role in this game. While the Canadiens were on a power play and the score was 3-2, a Blues player clearly tripped Justin Barron and then broke away to score the fourth goal for the home team.

So, instead of a 5-on-3 advantage for the Canadiens, the Blues' lead was increased. However, it should be mentioned that the Canadiens did not deserve the victory, as the Blues were the better team on the ice.
