The Ottawa Senators have just made a big move
A nice surprise just occurred in the NHL today, as we learn that Josh Bailey is finally landing in Ottawa.
The 33-year-old forward, who was the 9th overall pick in the 2008 draft, has decided to completely change his plans, whereas many believed he was finally retiring from hockey.
Now he has just signed a professional tryout contract, and he has a serious chance of securing a spot with the Sens.
It should be noted that he has amassed 580 points in 1057 career games, even having a solid season with 71 points in 76 games in 2018. He has become a much more marginal forward, but he still scored 25 points in 64 games last year, on a fourth line.
This could really turn out to be an excellent acquisition by GM Pierre Dorion.
