Trevor Zegras, the star player, traded to Montreal: rumors intensify as there is a big visit to the Bell Centre
In trade rumors, we have often heard the name Trevor Zegras associated with the Montreal Canadiens. The fit seems perfect, especially considering he is a close friend of Cole Caufield and has been seen with Martin St-Louis on several occasions.
Furthermore, the Canadiens auctioned off a jersey signed by Zegras, which the forward willingly signed during the Canadiens' visit to Anaheim. This gesture has also fueled the rumors.
To add more fuel to the fire, Ducks' General Manager Pat Verbeek is on the list of scouts at the Bell Centre tonight.
"Ducks GM, Pat Verbeek, is on the list of scouts who will be at tonight's game between the Islanders and the Canadiens."
- Renaud Lavoie
To be perfectly honest, it might not be wise to get too excited about Verbeek's presence at the Bell Centre. However, if the Ducks' GM or one of his colleagues were to keep an eye on the Canadiens, it would become very interesting.
