Shane Wright just got seriously pranked by the Seattle Kraken
It's a real joke! The Seattle Kraken announced on Friday that they had recalled forward Shane Wright, who is having a very good season in the American League.
It was a well-deserved and anticipated call-up for him, and he was certainly eager to show where he stands compared to last year.
Unfortunately, the team decided to change its mind, and he is the one paying the price:
"The Seattle Kraken have recalled forward Tye Kartye from Coachella Valley and reassigned forward Shane Wright to the Firebirds."
- Seattle Kraken So, Wright will have to wait again before playing his first NHL game of the season. What's weirdest about all this is that the two players involved (Wright and Kartye) switched places yesterday. Shane was called up, and Tye was assigned to the Firebirds.
One might think it's an administrative move, but it makes no sense, especially since Wright earns more than Kartye. The organization just reversed its decision 24 hours later.
