Two players from the Canadiens been identified to be traded before the start of the season, according to an expert
Taking the rebuilding project very seriously, the Montreal Canadiens aim to trade Mike Hoffman and Joel Armia by the end of the offseason.
According to expert Eric Engels, the CH is looking to part ways with both forwards as they are not part of the team's future plans and are currently considered expendable in the roster.
They intend to wait until the free agency period slows down before initiating trade talks with interested teams.
Mike Hoffman, 33 years old, could be valuable offensively for a team in need of a third-line player, provided the Canadiens retain a portion of his salary.
Joel Armia's defensive profile could also be enticing if the Canadiens absorb some of his salary impact.
Let's hope Kent Hughes manages to pull another rabbit out of his hat with these two.
