Two significant last-minute moves by the Canadiens
With all the injuries, a recall from Laval was certainly expected. It's no surprise that Joel Armia is returning to the team, as he has been performing very well in Laval.
In four games, the Finnish player has recorded five points, including four goals. Perhaps he needed this wake-up call.
For forward Filip Mesar, the news is less favorable. He has been reassigned to the OHL with the Kitchener Rangers. Nonetheless, he managed to earn his first professional point.
