Viral scene involving the Montreal Canadiens: Cole Caufield loses his temper
Cole Caufield is not himself right now. The young forward is in a slump, the first since he started playing under Martin St-Louis.
In terms of points, it's decent, with 15 points in 19 games. But for a goal-scorer, only one goal in 10 games is not enough.
Recall that Caufield has scored nearly a goal per game everywhere he has played in his playing career. Certainly, he won't be able to achieve that in the NHL, and he knows it very well, but having only 5 goals in 10 games, with just one at 5-on-5, becomes frustrating for him, and that's understandable.
In the last game, he was seen venting his frustration on the boards, kicking the players' bench.
It might seem trivial, but we love to see that. Cole is not satisfied, and he won't settle for so little. He is hungry and wants more. He will never be the kind of player to rest on his eight-year contract.
