WOW: Connor Bedard will receive a fine in his first career game
Connor Bedard broke an NHL rule in his debut game tonight. He chose to take a fine rather than wear a helmet during his first warm-up in Pittsburgh.
The most recent first overall pick chose not to comply with this rule and will accept a $2,500 fine, due to a recent regulation requiring all new players to wear a helmet during warm-up.
The pictures are, however, worth it, as many applaud the audacity of the 18-year-old player.
