While the Canadiens are having a rather ordinary start to the season, it's quite the opposite for the Laval Rocket who have won six of their first seven games since the start of the season.

Among the Canadiens' farm team players off to a strong start in the American Hockey League, Luke Tuch stands out with two goals and two assists already this season.

Alec's brother had an excellent camp with the Canadiens, where he was used during three preseason games, even scoring a goal against the Philadelphia Flyers on September 23.

That said, according to Anthony Marcotte, the Laval Rocket's game commentator on BPM Sports, it could well be that Kent Hughes will make a call to Pascal Vincent to eventually bring Luke Tuch to the big club.

"I'll be the first to be surprised if Luke Tuch doesn't get a call-up to the Canadiens this year. Another solid performance from him tonight. His constant pressure bothered, if not downright intimidated, his opponents all evening." - Anthony Marcotte

In fact, Marcotte believes the Canadiens will recall him sooner or later this season and that he could become a valuable offensive asset within the organization.

A second-round pick of the Canadiens in the 2020 draft, Luke Tuch has spent the last four seasons with Boston University in the NCAA and is in his first season as a professional.

The question now is whether he can get a recall to the big club before players like Joshua Roy and Alex Barré-Boulet, who seem to be on a mission since being traded to the Laval Rocket a few weeks ago.
