Carey Price had several partners during his reign with the Canadiens, and one of them has just hit rock bottom by being demoted to the ECHL.

Indeed, Keith Kinkaid has been bouncing between the NHL and the AHL since leaving the Canadiens organization, which is normal for a goalie of his caliber. There are many like him, and we can probably add Cayden Primeau to this list.

Where we start to realize that retirement is approaching is when an AHL team no longer wants your services and decides to send you to the ECHL.

The East Coast League is a good professional league, no doubt about it, but for a player who has had a career in the NHL and the AHL, it's a tough blow.

Keith Kinkaid signed a contract with the Charlotte Checkers, who have just assigned him to the Savannah Ghost Pirates, the ECHL team affiliated with the Florida Panthers.

Do you think he should retire? We must admit that it's becoming persistence at 35 years old.

Keith Kinkaid has a record of 70-58-21 in 169 NHL games, with an average of 2.91 and a save percentage of 0.905.

He played 6 games with the Canadiens and 13 with the Rocket, and he didn't make a big difference, with very ordinary statistics.

We wish him good luck in the ECHL. It will be a first overview of this league for him.
