Arber Xhekaj had a tumultuous season last year, but he remained confident and finished strong despite his injury.
Indeed, Arber Xhekaj missed the final games of the season, but he had been dealing with a shoulder injury for weeks and refused to talk about it.
He was playing so well alongside David Savard, so just imagine how good he would have been with a healthy shoulder! It would have been very impressive, in my opinion.
We know the next steps, as he underwent surgery on that same shoulder, and we still haven't received an update on his ability to return to play in time for training camp in a few days.
However, a photo of him carrying a teenager on his shoulders is circulating, which almost confirms that he's ready to rejoin his teammates.
I'm not a fortune teller, but he certainly wouldn't be carrying a young person on his shoulders if he weren't 100% recovered. Not only did he play basketball with him, Alex Newhook, Georges Laraque, Kaiden Guhle, and Justin Barron, but he also supported the weight directly at the spot where he had surgery.
I'm not shocked to see this photo; quite the opposite. I'm very reassured to see him in such good shape and to know that he will be ready for the start of training camp!
