Carey Price's break up: Angela Price opens up about the rumors in Montreal
For over a decade, Carey Price and Angela Price have been a beloved couple among Canadiens fans, and they still are today.
Even though they are now in British Columbia and Carey hasn't played for over two years, we are always happy to get updates, and Angela is as generous as ever with her online comments.
In fact, if we get updates on Carey, it's thanks to her! Recently, she mentioned how false rumors can be in Montreal.
During one of her Q&A sessions, Angela opened up about the experience.
Question:
"How do you deal with all the whispers about you or Carey? Whether they are true or false?"
Angela's response:
"Oh my friend! That was probably one of the hardest/weirdest things to get used to! But all those rumors were always so far from the truth that it made me laugh.
Don't get me wrong! There have been juicy stories in our past, but none of them have ever come out publicly.
I remember, I think it was my second year living in Montreal, and Carey and I had a huge fight, and I literally went back home (out West) for a few months... I remember friends in Montreal sending me magazine covers with me and Carey on them, with titles like Carey Price is in love!' It made me laugh so much.
They didn't know that we were actually separated. We had broken up for months.
Rumors are never true, it seems." - Angela Price
She really opened up her heart. In her second year in Montreal, Carey had a very tough season, and it shows that these athletes are affected by their off-ice lives.
They are human and go through tough times, even the best of them.
Carey and Angela were separated for a few months, and no one knew about it. Fortunately, they reconciled, and we know the rest. Today, they have three beautiful children and are living a happy life.
