Carey Price remains in the Canadiens' entourage
Carey Price made a highly-anticipated appearance in Montreal for the Canadiens' season opener Wednesday against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Accompanied by his wife, Angela, and their children, he took the opportunity to spend some quality time in Quebec.
But after the game, Carey made the surprising decision to extend his stay in Montreal, without taking his family back to British Columbia.
Angela Price confirmed the news via her social media, specifying that she was taking care of the kids alone while Carey remained in Montreal. Wow, wow, interesting!

This did not fail to revive the rumors concerning a possible role for Carey within the Canadiens organization. Some already see him in a position of consultant or coach and I hope that Carey will obtain a role with the Montreal team. In any case, the Canadiens' answer will be YES, to the future proposal of the CH, because it is certain that you want to have Carey in the team's entourage, no matter the role.
Moreover, during a signing session, Carey Price had stated that he was open to the idea of working for the CH, but that in the short term, his priority remained his family. We can understand, the guy has devoted his entire life to hockey.
At 37, and after having played 712 games with the Canadiens, Carey Price still seems very attached to Montreal, a city that holds a special place in his heart (and rightly so).
