Montreal Canadiens fans have always had great respect for Sidney Crosby, but unlike other stars like Connor McDavid, who have sometimes received a more mixed reception, the Bell Centre crowd once again showed class tonight.
Once again, he was warmly welcomed by the Montreal fans. It's a rare gesture for an opposing player, but Montreal seems to be an exception when it comes to number 87.
Maybe because he played his entire junior career in Rimouski?

Let's face it, Crosby is a legend and he deserves all the respect he can get.
At 37, Sid The Kid has collected 1,599 points in 1,275 games, including 592 goals, with the Pittsburgh Penguins. This season, he has already accumulated three points in three games.
Will he get his 1,600th NHL point tonight against Montreal? We hope so, but one thing is certain, this beautiful tribute from the Canadiens fans is a sign of their appreciation for one of hockey's greatest talents.
Congratulations to them for this great moment!
