Departure of Martin St-Louis: Trevor Letowski made a big statement that demonstrates the strength of the Montreal Canadiens
The Montreal Canadiens are a tightly-knit team, bonded together. Martin St-Louis is missed by everyone, but Trevor Letowski has stepped in admirably.
The interim head coach recently secured his first victory in Seattle, which is no small feat. Everyone was happy for him, and it's well-deserved. He has worked hard.
In the post-game press conference, Letowski refused to take all the credit, although he has every right to. He preferred to remain humble and emphasize the team and Martin St-Louis.
Trevor Letowski: "for me it's a little bit awkward just because of the circumstances; I feel like I was the guy, I guess, the head coach but it was a real group effort - that's why I feel a little uncomfortable about saying that's my 1st #NHL win as a head coach..."

From what I gather, it's as if he doesn't feel like the current coach of the Montreal Canadiens and that the credit for the victory doesn't solely belong to him. Everyone contributes to fill the void left by Martin.
Trevor Letowski: "it was a memorable week for me just because of the way the team rallied around each other and how the staff and players had to push a little extra to keep some kind of normalcy when we're missing our leader."

The strength of the Montreal Canadiens lies in all its members, from players to employees who are usually more in the background. But we can clearly see what St-Louis brought with him.
