Here is the exact reason for Nick Suzuki's refusal to go to the Worlds
Nick Suzuki declined to join Team Canada for the World Championship, and it stirred up quite a reaction.
Indeed, several well-known personalities in the hockey world criticized him for backing out of this significant event. However, after 5 seasons without missing a single game, he certainly deserves a vacation.
Speaking of vacations, Suzuki was once again pointed fingers at because he was in the south with his sweetheart, while many believe he should be focused on hockey.
What his detractors didn't know is that he had planned to propose! Yes, the captain of the Canadiens is getting married!
With a season of 77 points in 82 games, Nick certainly deserves a vacation, especially when it serves such a meaningful purpose.
Congratulations to the lovebirds!
