Hilarious Statement from Bob Hartley About Josh Anderson
For the second time this season, Josh Anderson is in a serious scoring drought. The difference this time is that he's not very visible in the games, unlike the early part of the season when he was very involved, but the points weren't coming.
His December was fantastic, even earning him the Molson Cup. However, since the beginning of 2024, it's become very challenging.
On Saturday afternoon, Anderson was very involved, and it was good to see him getting scoring chances. Unfortunately, even with an empty net, he couldn't score or even hit the net.
On a breakaway in the third period, he also missed by hitting the post. In short, luck is not on his side.
On Antichambre after the game, Bob Hartley found a clever way to illustrate what's happening with Anderson:
"Anderson would jump off a boat, and he wouldn't land in the water."
It's a humorous way of saying that even with an empty net, he's not hitting the net. As they say, better to laugh than to cry!
