Juraj Slafkovsky grabbed attention for all the right reasons last season, especially during the last 50 games when he was paired with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield.
The young Slovak impressed with his poise, especially considering he was just 19 years old. We finally saw the first overall pick dominate as expected.
The Canadiens made the right choice in selecting him, without a doubt, and he proves it once again with a breathtaking statement.
Not only does he align himself with the captain, Cole Caufield, and Arber Xhekaj in talking about the playoffs, but he also mentions that he's not satisfied and wants to do better.
Personally, I'm very excited about his maturity and his desire to be the best. He has all the tools to become one of the top wingers in the NHL, and his progress is happening at lightning speed.
In fact, the NHL website has predicted a 67-point season for him, which I think would be excellent. He's working hard to achieve that, and if he can avoid injuries, I have no doubt he will get there.
