It's confirmed for Cole Caufield, and it's very concerning
It was on Sunday that we learned the entire first line was sidelined for the team's mandatory practice. Indeed, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Juraj Slafkovsky all missed the session to receive treatments.
It's nonetheless concerning to know that the three standout players on the team have to miss practice and are not at 100% physically. They are undeniably the heart and soul of the team.
Good news today, as Suzuki and Slafkovsky were present at practice. For the captain, it had been a few times he missed for treatments, so that's encouraging.
It's a different story for Caufield, who was once again absent.
"Forward Cole Caufield will not participate in today's practice (therapy day). " - Montreal Canadiens
Caufield has been on a great streak for the past month and is having a superb season. Let's hope he won't have to miss any games because he's already having his best campaign yet, with 45 points in 55 games.
