It's confirmed for Raphaël Harvey-Pinard and it's really sad
Raphaël Harvey-Pinard has had quite a journey with the Canadiens, proving in his first season that he belongs in the NHL with an impressive 14 goals in just 34 games.
He provided energy to the 4th line and seamlessly fit into Nick Suzuki's trio. Martin St-Louis even nicknamed him "the Swiss Army knife."
However, things have drastically changed for RHP since last year, and there are now concerns that he might not make the starting lineup this coming October. His summer preparation and training camp will be crucial for his future, and unfortunately, we've just learned some troubling news.
"Exclusive: Rafael Harvey-Pinard has reportedly injured himself in a sports event involving former and current Rocket players. It's described as a lower-body injury." - Mathieu Paradis If RHP indeed has a serious injury, it could greatly impact his future prospects. Imagine if he can't train properly or worse, misses training camp altogether. It would be catastrophic for him. Clearly, injuries have been a persistent issue since last year, and there are growing concerns about whether he's too fragile for his style of play.
"At the time of writing, the organization hasn't confirmed or denied the information. More details could emerge in the coming days. There's worry that RHP could be sidelined for several weeks." - Via TSLH
In the past, rushing back to play has led RHP to more serious injuries, so caution is crucial now.
