Johnny Gaudreau tragedy: new information has emerged and it's even more disturbing
When looking at hockey news since last Thursday, the deaths of Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew have been at the forefront, and rightly so.
The situation is truly tragic. From the accident that led to their deaths to the families with young children in mourning, the information we have is heart-wrenching.
Despite all this, there are still people asking why the two brothers were biking at 8:15 PM, the time of the accident. It's incredible that this is a real question.
Well, the answer has been given, and it's related to their sister's wedding, which makes it even more heartbreaking.
"We have learned that they were coming back from a rehearsal for their sister Katie Gaudreau's wedding, which was scheduled for the following day. Both were to be the groomsmen.
They were about just 10 minutes by bike from their family home when they were fatally struck."
- Marco Normandin
While everything seemed to be going well in their lives and the family was ready to celebrate a beautiful event, everything turned into a true nightmare.
It's evident that life can sometimes hang by a thread. It's truly devastating, and I wouldn't wish this on anyone.
