Indeed, Josh and his wife, Paola Finizio, have decided to stay in Montreal all summer, except for their wedding, which took place in Italy.
Josh's goal this year is to bounce back, and he's making decisions that align with that goal by staying close to the team.
Every Thursday, he will train with Samuel Montembeault, and Nick Suzuki and Jayden Struble occasionally join them.
Not only does Anderson want to rebound, but this also clearly shows that he loves the city and the team and intends to stay for the three years remaining on his contract.
In a recent interview with Richard Labbée, the Canadiens' goaltender announced Josh's presence for the summer. For the organization, this undoubtedly carries a lot of weight.
As Martin St-Louis said last year, Anderson is working hard and hasn't given up. It's clear he hasn't let up this summer either and really wants to be part of the team's success.
When a player already has a long-term contract and takes this kind of action, it says a lot. He could simply sit back and collect his paycheck, but no. He has chosen to work hard, stay close to the team for better support, and equip himself to bounce back.
Personally, I am very impressed to learn all of this!
