Indeed, Nick Suzuki and Samuel Montembeault were on the ice practicing, and we received some other good news.
Despite it being summer, with players on vacation and most of them and their partners not from Montreal, Josh Anderson and Jayden Struble also decided to spend the summer in the city, just like the captain.
They can therefore benefit from advice and training with CH professionals, which is excellent for their preparation for the upcoming season.
The biggest surprise was the presence of Josh Anderson, who is linked to several trade rumors. Clearly, he likes Montreal and wants to have a much better season.
This is very encouraging for what lies ahead. With Kirby Dach returning to play, if the Canadiens can have Josh Anderson at full strength as well, it will be a significant advantage compared to last year.
Adding to that, Nick Suzuki, who has spent his summers in Montreal for years, and Samuel Montembeault being present as well, it's very promising. The goaltender has an established number 1 spot to earn and seems determined not to let it slip away.
Please also note that every Thursday, there will be players at the CN Sports Complex in Brossard. It's really good news to hear that. The players are talking about the playoffs and want to do everything possible to qualify, or at least get close and make progress.
