Juraj Slafkovsky had his best game at the worst possible time
With three goals, making him the second youngest player in Canadiens history to achieve a hat trick in front of Guy Lafleur, Juraj Slafkovsky had his best career game on Tuesday night.
However, the Slovakian achieved this feat while far from being at 100%. He was sick, but he certainly wasn't going to miss the game because of that. In fact, he sees it positively.
«I didn't sleep well during my nap, but I had a good game. Plus, I have a runny nose. I have a cold, I have a sore throat. I'm a little sick, but I can stay like this every day!» - Juraj Slafkovsky
How often do we hear about a player missing a game because they have a cold? It happens fairly regularly in the NHL. Juraj never thought about missing the game, and he scored three goals despite his condition.
It's with this kind of player, this kind of mentality, that the Habs will be able to not only make the playoffs, but win and go far.
And that kind of attitude is even more contagious than a cold in the dressing room!
