The last 24 hours have been very strange around the Canadiens, as three players were injured in different conditions.

First, Kaiden Guhle was injured because he didn't protect himself following contact with Los Angeles Kings forward Adrian Kempe.

Michael Matheson missed the last two periods and is not sure he will play tomorrow. However, it is part of the journey. He may have to miss his first game since the 2022-23 season.

Kaiden Guhle is certain to stay in Montreal. He will be re-evaluated on a daily basis, but he seemed to grimace after yesterday's contact, although he denied it after the meeting.

Unfortunately, it wasn't enough, it seems, as Juraj Slafkovsky injured his shoulder in training and left the ice. He did not return afterwards.

According to Martin St.Louis, the Slovak is traveling with his teammates, but his presence is uncertain for tomorrow's match against the Islanders.

Imagine if the worst is confirmed and the Canadian is deprived of three big pieces on the road tomorrow evening. It's definitely the first pair of defenders and a member of the first trio who are currently inconvenienced.

Kaiden Guhle didn't make the trip, so we can already forget about him. It remains to be seen what will happen to Matheson and Slafkovsky. Hopefully they won't have to miss it too.

The Canadiens will have quite a challenge live from New York, as they face Patrick Roy's Islanders tomorrow night. They will need the maximum from their players, especially since they are already in a bad streak.

In your opinion, is Juraj Slafkovsky already an untouchable for the Canadiens?
