Juraj Slafkovsky's progression has been impressive this year. He's already standing out as one of the best forwards for the Canadiens.

For his country, he's certainly one of the best, if not the best as well. He's having very good moments at the World Championship, and he's not changing his way of playing.

Remember last year, how unstable he was on his skates. He would regularly fall on the ice and lose control of the puck.

That time is over. Juraj has quickly become formidable in puck possession and along the boards. He's so strong, and he uses it wonderfully well.

Nick Suzuki said that his young teammate will become one of the top 5 wingers in the League. If his progression continues steadily, we can really believe it.

Slaf is very confident. He knows his strengths and uses them gleefully. Moreover, he scared Shane Pinto during the game against the United States. The Senators' forward left instead of staying and facing him.

This kind of sequence happens all the time at the World Championship since the tournament started. Slaf intimidates his opponents, outright. He's really dominant.

"Juraj Slafkovsky has gained so much confidence in the last year that he's now calling the shots on the ice! His potential is increasing by the minute!" - HABSolumentFan

We shouldn't get too carried away. Juraj is only 20 years old, and things can change quickly, but it's very encouraging.

If he continues on this trajectory, there's no doubt he'll be the best forward for the Montreal Canadiens. Kent Hughes and his scouting team really nailed it.

Honorable mention to Martin St-Louis, who never doubted him, nor his abilities to play in the NHL.
