Logan Mailloux already called up by the Canadiens? It's possible with Jayden Struble's injury
We expected Logan Mailloux to be able to crack the Canadiens' lineup this season, but unfortunately, he didn't manage to do so.
He was sent down to the Laval Rocket at the very end of camp, but he could be called up in the next few hours.
Indeed, it will all depend on the health of Jayden Struble, who is clearly dealing with an injury. He missed yesterday's practice to receive treatment and left after 20 minutes today.
It's not reassuring at all to see a player leave in the middle of practice like that. Given the summer he had and the fantastic camp he experienced, it's really unfortunate that he's injured.
Jayden Struble injured, Logan Mailloux called up?
We'll have news in the coming hours, but if Jayden Struble is injured badly enough to be placed on the injured list, Logan Mailloux's call-up could be almost instant.
The young defenseman probably didn't want things to unfold this way, but any recall opportunity will be good for him, and he'll need to give the Canadiens no other choice but to keep him up when the time comes.
