Major development for Jake Allen: The Canadiens' goalie is expected to change teams, according to Frank Seravalli
There's some significant development on the New Jersey front. The general manager of the team just made a strong statement, and the arrival of a new goaltender is almost certain by Friday.

Obviously, it didn't take much for rumors to start circulating about Jake Allen. The goaltender could bring some leadership and stability in front of their net.
According to Frank Seravalli, if a goaltender is likely to change teams by Friday, it's Jake Allen.
"Frank Seravalli believes that if a goaltender changes teams by March 8th, it's Jake Allen."
This isn't the first time Jake Allen has been linked to the Devils, and it might finally materialize. Certainly, his contractual situation poses a problem, but the Devils seem at a crossroads after such a statement from their GM.
