Plot twist: a surprising player is joining the Canadiens' organization, and it's showtime
The final stretch of the season in the NHL also means the end of European and college leagues. For the Canadiens, there is eager anticipation for the arrival of two particular players, Lane Hutson and David Reinbacher.
It's already written in the stars that Lane Hutson will play in Montreal, but as for the Austrian, he is expected to go directly to Laval. He is not the only defenseman who could end up there.
Indeed, Adam Engstrom is underrated in the organization, but he shouldn't be. He is quite remarkable with the puck, so much so that he is nicknamed "Showtime."
According to a recent article by Arpon Basu, he will soon sign his entry-level contract with the NHL and would go directly to join the Rocket.
Laval is currently 4 points away from a playoff spot, so the arrival of two highly promising young defensemen like Reinbacher and Engstrom will be a significant boost.
You will have the chance to witness quite a spectacle at the Place Bell before the end of the season.
