We will finally have the chance to see the player who was surprisingly popular at the last draft, defenseman David Reinbacher, in the coming days.

Indeed, his season will likely end on Friday, so he should be coming directly to North America afterwards.

"Olten loses 3-1 and a 7th game will take place on Friday in the semi-final of the 2nd division. If Olten loses, David Reinbacher should theoretically be able to cross over to Quebec as Kloten will no longer be at risk of relegation." - Guillaume Lefrançois, La Presse

Recall that the Austrian was preferred over Matvei Michkov, whom the Predators were willing to pay a high price (Yaroslav Askarov and the 14th overall pick) to acquire, and whom the Coyotes intended to select with the 6th pick if the Canadiens did not take him.

Finally, the wait is coming to an end and we will be able to see him this week or next week in the Canadiens' system. It would make sense for him to go directly to Laval, but perhaps the Habs will want to try him out in the NHL first.

This is very good news, and in my opinion, his stint in Europe is over; he will return at the beginning of next season to play with the Rocket or the Canadiens if he manages to crack the lineup.
