He isn't even officially back in the lineup yet, and already there are rumors that Kirby Dach might be traded to the Boston Bruins.

We know that the forward is ready to return to play and is at 100%, but Sportsnet recently released a piece about the possibility of trading him to Boston.

According to them, the team would pay a very high price for his services due to the losses of Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci, among others.

According to former NHL player Denis Gauthier, Kirby Dach is going nowhere, and he is considered untouchable.

The former defenseman thinks, however, that this could change quickly if Dach is unable to stay healthy or if he does not produce. But with his talent and size, he should be considered on par with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield, among others.

Kirby Dach is expected to be the second-line center, and he will be, barring a big surprise. He should play with Patrik Laine and Alex Newhook or Josh Anderson, but it will come down to merit.

There is strong internal competition with the Canadiens, and it is important not to rule out the possibility of changes.
