Martin St-Louis loses his temper at practice, and Juraj Slafkovsky bears the brunt
It's rare to see Martin St-Louis lose patience with his players, but when things don't go to his liking, he doesn't hesitate to get his message across.
This morning at practice, Juraj Slafkovsky and Jesse Ylonen felt the heat as their forechecking work was evidently not up to par.
"For those worried about complacency creeping in with the Habs, be reassured.
This morning, MSL didn't hesitate to speak his mind to certain players during a drill focusing on forechecking/zone exits.
Slafkovsky and Ylonen were notably addressed."
It all ended well, and we all know how good of a communicator Martin is. His message and reaction were meant to elicit a response from his players.
It's great to see that. Even though the team is mathematically almost certain to miss the playoffs, there will be no letup, and everyone will be working through all 82 games and the accompanying practices.
