The Montreal Canadiens are in action tonight as they host the Seattle Kraken.

Martin St-Louis' men will try to extend their winning streak to three and the CH head coach will be able to count on reinforcements up front as Juraj Slafkovsky will be back in action tonight.

However, the latter will not be reunited with his usual trio mates Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield.

According to journalist Marc-Antoine Godin, the Slovakian forward played alongside Alex Newhook and Joel Armia on the second trio at practice this morning.

Everything indicates that it is with these two players that the first choice of the 2022 draft will evolve for tonight's game against the Kraken.

Meanwhile, Caufield and Suzuki, who have dominated the scoring column for the Canadiens since the start of the season, will be paired with Kirby Dach, who woke up in the last two games with a harvest of three points.

Obviously St-Louis does not want to change a winning formula by keeping Dach on the first line and we recall that the latter had his best moments with the Canadiens two years ago.

But if ever the former first-round pick of the Blackhawks were to fall flat, we will have to expect to see the big Slovakian winger back alongside the captain and the American sniper.
