Martin St-Louis settles the Arber Xhekaj case once and for all
Arber Xhekaj has experienced a rollercoaster of emotions this year. He had a tough start to the season, then got injured, was sent to Laval, came back, was sidelined... In short, one word can describe him, and that's RESILIENCE!
He never gave up and currently, even for several weeks now, he's been playing outstanding hockey, the best we've seen from him in two years.
As for the Canadiens' defensive rotation, that's over for him. He's now part of the top 4 and seems immovable.
Martin St-Louis continues the rotation, but it's Johnathan Kovacevic and Jordan Harris who alternate sitting out. This will be the case again tonight.
"Johnathan Kovacevic enters for Jordan Harris tonight against the Jackets." - Montreal Canadiens
Being a fan favorite, it's very reassuring to see that, but it's not surprising. Xhekaj has really matured. He's playing his style while remaining very disciplined, and he's contributing offensively, which is a bonus in itself.
