Official Canadiens statement: Patrik Laine is in town!
Recent updates revealed that Patrik Laine would soon arrive in Montreal and could make his debut at the Centre Bell, donning the Canadiens' colors.
That moment has now arrived, as the Finnish forward has already sported his new team colors. It's safe to say that the bleu-blanc-rouge suits him perfectly!
As previously mentioned, Patrik Laine will wear number 92, succeeding Jonathan Drouin for that jersey number.
Laine is typically reserved in front of cameras, but he appeared with a big smile at the Centre Bell. He seems genuinely excited to join the organization.
His reaction upon seeing his new jersey was simply magical. Welcome to Montreal, Patrik Laine! Here's hoping he finds joy in playing under Martin St-Louis.
