Patrik Laine's girlfriend, Jordan Leigh, reacted for the first time to the trade that is bringing them to Montreal, and she already has a request for Chantal Machabée.

She's very excited about coming to Montreal with her fiancé and being able to support the Canadiens, which is great news in itself.

To add to this, she made a very specific request to the public, though it's likely that Chantal Machabée, within the organization, will handle it.

She asked for a French teacher, which says a lot about her intentions and those of her fiancé, Patrik Laine.

We know that Chantal Machabée is tasked with helping players and their families when they need assistance learning French.

In any case, the interest shown by Jordan Leigh in learning French, just a day after the trade, is being very well received by fans in general.

It also shows her level of commitment to joining the Canadiens and the community. Kudos to her!
