Everyone held their breath between Friday and Tuesday evening, as Patrik Laine's injury looked really terrible and we feared the worst.

In the end, he will only miss two to three months, which is excellent under the circumstances. One could say he was very lucky in his misfortune.

A stroke of luck for Patrik Laine?

The Finn was already wearing a brace on his left knee during the game, which helped him avoid the worst. He did not need surgery, and it was said to be a miracle.

In fact, that's exactly the term (miracle) that his partner Jordan Leigh used to describe his injury. Without his brace, the consequences could have been catastrophic.

So this is very good news, and let's bet that he will continue to wear his brace when he returns to play!

By the way, if you are wondering where Patrik Laine is right now, he who posed near a jet, he is at Mont Tremblant with his teammates for the team's closed retreat.

This is also really excellent news. Already being the first on the ice for practices, the last to leave, and showing up Monday, after his injury, for his teammates' practice, we can see that he is genuine and loves his environment.

Having a happy Patrik Laine is always good for a hockey team! He is a great scorer and an excellent playmaker, able to go from one end of the rink to the other without too much trouble with the puck.
