With the number of injuries constantly increasing once again this season for the Canadiens, all good news is welcomed.

We learned in the last few hours that Justin Barron, Kaiden Guhle and Juraj Slafkovsky skated, which is excellent news.

Now the good news comes about Patrik Laine. We don't have much news of him, but his rehabilitation is going well, even very well.

In recent days he had been seen without crutches, and he has now been seen without a knee brace. It seemed to work really well.

This means that after a month almost to the day following his injury, he is back on his feet without any constraints. Of course he needs to strengthen his knee and continue to work, but it is very encouraging in view of his return to play.

«Patrik Laine walked past me on his way to the press box and the huge brace he was wearing on his leg is now gone. He didn't even walk with a very marked limp. »

- Arpon Basu

The most encouraging thing about what Arpon Basu said was that he did not walk with difficulty even without a brace. This is really good news for his recovery.

It should also be noted that he could be in Finland or elsewhere, but he decided to stay in Montreal and show up to encourage his teammates and be involved.

A bit like Kirby Dach last year, he chose to stay with the team and that will be a win-win for the future. Let's go Patrik!
