Just because the Canadiens won't make the playoffs doesn't mean there won't be inspiring hockey until the end of the season. There are still exciting stories to be written, and three defensemen from the organization are part of it.

Indeed, Lane Hutson is expected to sign his entry-level contract and join the team, and Adam Engstrom and David Reinbacher are also expected to come to North America.

Now, that should be interesting!"- Marc-Olivier Beaudoin

Whether in Montreal or Laval or a mix of both, these are three high-level prospects for the Habs, and they should not be underestimated.

Engstrom is probably the most overlooked of the three, but beware. He is a very surprising defenseman.

Their arrival will be even more interesting as it will give Kent Hughes a more comprehensive picture of what he has at his disposal. We know he'll have important decisions to make regarding his defensemen, and these three could definitely change the game.
